One of the first fragrance notes you will likely detect in Vieux Carré is night blooming jasmine. This beautiful flowering vine grows in most courtyards in the French Quarter. Its intoxicating aroma has many locals sleeping with their windows open even on the hottest summer nights. Patchouli, and rose pedals accompany this local flower to create a mood of melancholy and somber reflectiveness. The heart and base notes are cypress, and essence of woodsmoke. Although more subtle, these two create the foundation of this scent. It harkens back to the foundation of the cypress French Quarter structures, winding cypress staircases, and their smokey ancient past.

With top notes of Macintosh apple, and peppermint, heart notes of clove and orange spice, its the base of freshly cut Fraser fir and twisted cinnamon that bring it all together.
